I am a trained bookkeeping professional with hands-on experience in QuickBooks and practical accounting workflows. I have completed the Intuit Bookkeeping Certification and developed my skills through extensive hands-on practice with realistic bookkeeping scenarios. My experience includes recording and categorizing business transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, managing Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P), preparing invoices and sales receipts, recording customer payments and deposits, handling expenses, creating journal entries, and maintaining general ledger accounts. I have also practiced bank reconciliation, including identifying discrepancies between bank statements and QuickBooks records, recording bank service charges and interest income, and ensuring that account balances are accurate. In addition, I have worked with inventory transactions, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, depreciation, owner’s equity, owner’s draws, loans, customer deposits, and other common bookkeeping accounts. I am comfortable working with QuickBooks reports such as Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable Aging, Accounts Payable Aging, and other financial reports. My focus is on accuracy, proper account classification, organized records, and maintaining reliable financial information for business decision-making. Through my training and practice, I have developed a strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, debits and credits, financial statements, reconciliation procedures, and day-to-day bookkeeping processes. I am continuously improving my QuickBooks, accounting, and Excel skills so I can provide reliable, accurate, and professional bookkeeping support to small businesses and clients.
