I lead a team of ten building the backend of a multi-tenant travel platform. Eight .NET 9 microservices in production, each owning its own database, talking REST and gRPC behind a clean layered architecture — the same structure I deliver in my gigs. The search path fans out to eleven supplier and GDS connectors in parallel and streams results to the browser over Server-Sent Events: more than 1,000 live fares in under ten seconds, the first in about four. Three white-label tenants run from a single codebase, with pricing, markup and discount rules held as tenant configuration rather than code — 96 of them at last count. I also built the platform's observability layer, which captures every inter-service call behind a provider-agnostic storage abstraction over Azure, AWS and Cloudflare. Day to day: architecture decisions, code review, database and query performance, and mentoring.

Java and Spring Boot backend work on Bangladesh's national Customs Bond Management System for the National Board of Revenue. Oracle-backed, high-volume transactional workloads. I rewrote the heaviest reporting and reconciliation paths — query tuning, indexing and batch processing — for roughly 25% more throughput. I also hardened authentication and authorisation across the platform: Spring Security with JWT and role-based access over several classes of government user.

Java and GraphQL work for Japanese clients, including a GraphQL Backend-for-Frontend for Rakuten's e-commerce platform. Schema stitching across several backend services, resolver batching to remove N+1 queries, and a single contract the frontend teams could consume without waiting on a backend release.
