I'm Mauro Lirussi and I'm working with self-publishing authors to create children's books.
I'm a published illustrator with over 15 years of experience, during which I've written some picture books and several other illustrated stories myself.
Moon Cow is my illustration and design studio for independent children's books. I work alongside graphic designer Araceli Tatarczuk to offer authors a one-stop-shop to get their book ready to publish.

As usual Mooncow Studios went above and beyond and delivered a creative, enjoyable, funny, and surprising interpretation of my vision. This is my 3rd time working with the team and it always feels like they care about each project as much as I do.

I am absolutely thrilled with the illustrations Mauro created for my children's book. He is talented beyond belief, and understood my brief perfectly. He has really bought my story to life with the colours, characters and visual appeal of his work, not to mention the humour he has brought to the story....

This is the second time I’ve used Mooncow. My first book is doing great and people have expressed how beautiful it is. This time the formatting was for the Spanish version. Would recommend this vendor.
