I have 6 year of hands-on experience in Import Documentation at Monnoo Group, where I have been actively involved in managing the complete import cycle from order placement to cargo clearance. My responsibilities include preparation and handling of Letter of Credit (LC) documentation in coordination with banks. I have experience in opening LCs, checking LC terms and conditions, preparation of LC application forms, ensuring compliance with UCP 600 rules, and resolving discrepancies in LC documents to ensure timely payment to suppliers. I also handle Non-Negotiable Documents including Non-Negotiable Bill of Lading, Copy Documents, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, and other shipping documents received through bank and courier channels. I verify all documents against LC terms and Purchase Orders to ensure accuracy before releasing payments and arranging clearance. Furthermore, I am responsible for Shipment Tracking and coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and shipping lines. I regularly track vessel schedules, ETAs, container status, and BL status through shipping line portals to ensure timely arrival of shipments. I also coordinate with the Clearing Department for GD filing, customs duty calculation, and delivery order collection. My role also includes maintaining complete import files, updating import registers, reconciling import payments with bank statements, and ensuring timely submission of documents to the State Bank and customs authorities as per import regulations of Pakistan. Working at Monnoo Group has given me strong practical knowledge of international trade procedures, Incoterms, banking procedures, and import compliance. My goal is to be recognized as the best import expert in Pakistan with specialized expertise in Import Documentation and Trade Finance.
