1 gig will consist of proofreading services for the FIRST 3000 words of text. It can include fiction, non-fiction, blog posts, web site content, resumes, manuscripts, letters, memos, scripts, advertising copy, brochures, journal articles, eBooks, stories.
I read every word & make the edits manually.

- One document edited using MS Word Track Changes, line edited

FAQ
What file type should I send?
I require an editable text document. Word docs are best - .doc or .docx. You can also send .rtf and.txt. I cannot accept .odt, .pdf or Pages. Please convert to another format.
Do you proofread manually?
Absolutely. It's impossible to use software to proofread your document carefully & accurately. I read every word & make the changes manually. I'll provide you with tracked edits & changes as well as a clean document with all changes accepted. You can compare the edits & changes with your original.
Is this service confidential?
Yes, 100%. I download your document, edit / proofread it, return it to you and then delete it from my computer. I never share it with anyone else. If you have a non-disclosure agreement, I'd be happy to sign it.
Do you outsource work to other proofreaders?
No, I work alone. In that way, I can maintain excellent quality, standards and accuracy. If you are another seller, please don't contact me asking to do some of my work. I am not interested.
Do you proofread websites?
Absolutely! However, I cannot directly edit a website. You will need to copy the text you'd like proofread into either a Word or text document. I can then give you an accurate quote and provide a tracked changes document for you as well as an edited document.
How do I know what changes have been made to my document?
I will deliver two files. One will contain the edits and changes using tracking in MS Word. The other will be the final edited document with all changes accepted. You can compare the edits /changes with your original document. Where there are any queries, I will alert you in a comment.
Do you offer any revisions?
No revisions are provided - because I read every word in the first instance. Any changes that need to be made are completed within the editing process.
