Designed and implemented Snowflake data warehouse objects including databases, schemas, tables, views, and materialized views for mortgage loan, customer, property, and payment data. Built end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, Snowpipe, Streams, dbt and Apache Airflow to ingest, transform, and load mortgage loan, customer, property, and payment data from multiple source systems. Developed Stored Procedures, UDFs, and SQL scripts to enforce complex business rules, data validations, and aggregations. Worked with external stages (AWS S3) and created external tables to load structured and semistructured files (CSV, JSON, Parquet, Avro, ORC). Performed query optimization, virtual warehouse tuning, and materialized view management to improve performance for large-scale mortgage loan, customer, and servicing data. Utilized Time Travel and Zero-Copy Cloning for point-in-time recovery, testing, and environment replication. Collaborated with Agile/Scrum teams, tracked Jira stories, and participated in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Implemented CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins for automated deployment of Snowflake scripts and DBT transformations. Conducted data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accurate and reliable mortgage loan, servicing, and regulatory reports for business stakeholders and compliance teams. Implemented Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD Type 1 & Type 2) for maintaining historical data in dimension tables. Designed and optimized views and materialized views to improve reporting and query performance. Performed performance tuning by analyzing query profiles, optimizing virtual warehouse configurations, and indexing strategies. Utilized DBT (Data Build Tool) for transformation , modular SQL development, and deployment automation. Worked with multiple data formats like CSV, JSON, Parquet, Avro, ORC for ingestion and transformation from various cloud and on-prem sources.
