Contracted to develop an Ignition 8.1 SCADA solution for an industrial wastewater treatment plant. The scope includes process mimics; communication with DAF 1, DAF 2, main, concentrator and sludge PLCs; integration of main-line flowmeters and the Parshall measurement signal; and validation of PLC-SCADA communications. The project involves Rockwell CompactLogix and Siemens S7-1200 controllers in a multi-vendor environment. Responsibilities include functional testing, commissioning support, communication stability checks and delivery of an updated digital backup of the SCADA project.
