Will my book or short story sell because of this?
No one - NO ONE - can ethically guarantee sales. But I'll bring decades' of experience and my status as a bestseller in a dozen different genres to help you polish your piece.
What if the piece I send is a TEENSY bit over the limit I pay for?
I will do a word count when I start and will cut off the piece after the paid-for limit. I won't even look at anything after that. Not trying to be a jerk, but as soon as I let things creep up "just a little," I start losing money and/or time - and this should be a win-win for us both.
Do you do critiques of full novels (over the limits mentioned in your gig)?
Sometimes, when I have the time. I bang out four to eight novels a year, in addition to scripts, so time is often short. Contact me and we'll work things out if possible.
Can I get a copy of your line notes - the redlined version of my work?
Some people like to see that in addition to my notes. Be forwarned: it's not me being nice, it's me slashing away like a pen-based samurai. But if you want that, contact me and it can be provided for an additional charge.
Will you critique ANY genre?
Any except erotica/pornography. I'm not judging you if that's what you write, but I'm not the guy for that. I've written bestsellers in just about everything else though - mystery, thriller, suspense, horror, sci-fi, fantasy, urban fantasy, humorous fiction, romance, and even non-fiction.
