Welcome to The Sound Explorer Studio ! I am Mathis and I am a sound engineer.
I do this job for 6 years and I have already worked on more than 100 projects made with a large majority of albums in all styles. I would help you in your musical project during the mixing and mastering stages.

Hi I’m Mathis from The Sound Explorer Studio! I am a sound engineer for 5 years and I have already worked on more than 60 projects including a large majority of album. I also work with the pop-rock band "The Black Tomate" in concert
I am the winner of the 10 years mixing contest of the channel "projet home studio", whose mix was selected by a jury of five professionals including a member of the Grammy Awards jury.
I work in my home studio on Studio One 6 with many plug-ins and hardware gears (SSL G compressor and Roland echo space RE-150).

FAQ
What is the mixing?
Mixing is the step after recording and production. It is a sequence of steps that allows to have a music pleasant to listen, more homogeneous and that sounds professional.
What are the mixing steps?
Edit each track (noise reduction...). Problems are corrected (resonance, too much dynamic). Process instruments to obtain the desired sound (more "air" in the voice, more punchy drums...). Spatialize for depth and width sound (reverb, delay...). Group treatments for finishes (bus processing).
What is mastering?
Mastering is the last step after mixing. We do the last finishing treatments (compressor, eq...). Then we control differents parameters to be sure that the music is ready to be published (stereo, phase...) It is at this stage that we set the final volume for the different suppport (streaming, CD...)
How i can send my files ?
The best is to send a WAV file for your different parts (drums, vocals, bass, guitars...), all synchronized with the beat in a zip file. You can send this file directly to Fiverr !
What DAW do I use?
I work on Studio One by Presonus. I may work on Ableton Live if requested.
How long does a mix take?
On average, I take 2 hours per group of 10 instrument tracks. I prefer to take more time for a more precise work in order to have a better result.
