Industrial Automation & SCADA Supervision Design, programming, and commissioning of an automated edible oil storage and 10-scenario transfer facility. • System Architecture & Machine State Structuring: Applied functional state analysis to define all machine operating states (Normal Production, Manual/Maintenance, Emergency Safe-State, and System Reset) prior to programming. • Hierarchical SFC (Sequential Function Chart) Architecture: Designed a structured set of multi-level SFCs to control system behavior: • Master / Conduction SFC: Oversees global operating modes, machine state transitions, and system initialization. • Safety SFC: Manages Emergency Stop routines, forcing the Normal Production SFC to a safe state, and executing fault recovery procedures. • Normal Production SFC: Controls the 10 distinct automated oil transfer scenarios while preventing cross-contamination. • Auxiliary SFCs: Controls autonomous mixing sequences for storage tank agitators. • Siemens S7-1500 PLC Programming: Translated machine state structuring and SFC functional designs into modular LADDER code in TIA Portal, organizing logic into standard OB1, OB100, FC, FB, and DB blocks. • Field Instrumentation & Analog Scaling: Integrated radar level transmitters (4–20 mA) and Coriolis mass flow meters for real-time inventory management and accurate batch dosing. • HMI / SCADA Touchscreen Interface: Built an interactive operator interface on a Siemens KTP700 panel featuring real-time process synoptics, live trend curves, manual controls, and alarm logging.
