I am a professional Spanish teacher and Spanish Fluency Coach with more than six years of experience teaching adult learners from different countries and cultural backgrounds. Since 2019, I have taught thousands of online lessons through private classes and international platforms such as Lingoda, Fiverr, and italki. I work with students at different levels, although much of my current focus is on intermediate learners who already understand Spanish but still struggle to speak naturally. Many of my students know grammar and vocabulary but translate mentally, hesitate, mix verb tenses, or feel blocked in real conversations. My role is to identify the causes of those difficulties and create a personalized training process to help them respond faster, think more directly in Spanish, and communicate with greater confidence. My teaching approach combines guided conversation, grammar in context, cognitive grammar, storytelling, real-life simulations, pronunciation work, image analysis, controlled speaking activities, and personalized feedback. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, personality, goals, and learning style rather than following the same method for everyone. I have extensive experience teaching challenging areas such as the preterite and imperfect, ser and estar, direct and indirect object pronouns, the subjunctive, conditional structures, and narrative organization. However, I focus on practical use rather than memorizing isolated rules. I also help students overcome speaking anxiety and perfectionism by developing clearer communication strategies, such as using shorter sentences, organizing ideas more effectively, and learning how to keep speaking even when they do not know the exact word. Before becoming a full-time Spanish teacher, I worked in accounting, finance, human resources, and corporate environments. This background allows me to understand adult professionals and bring a structured, analytical, and results-oriented approach to language.
