I worked on a WooCommerce-based supplement store project focused on implementing a complete quantity-based wholesale pricing system using the WholesaleX plugin. The store had a catalog of 41 products, but the immediate priority was the 25 active in-stock items so the client could begin selling right away while keeping the remaining draft products ready for later activation. My role involved auditing the store, reviewing product statuses and stock availability, confirming the plugin setup, and aligning the website’s pricing structure with the supplier’s 2026 pricing reference sheet. I mapped a 5-tier pricing model across the active products and identified the most efficient way to deploy the rules accurately without creating conflicts or inconsistencies in the store. To improve speed and reduce manual work, I created a custom CSV generation workflow tailored to WholesaleX’s exact rule import format. This made it possible to automate much of the pricing setup, reduce repetitive entry, and improve accuracy across the project. I manually created an initial rule to extract the correct import structure, then used that structure to generate and validate the remaining pricing rules before import. The work included configuring quantity-based pricing rules, validating product IDs and rule formatting, troubleshooting import logic, and testing the final setup on the front end to confirm that prices updated correctly based on cart quantity. I also prepared the remaining draft products for future rollout once stock is confirmed. This project combined WooCommerce administration, plugin configuration, pricing logic, data validation, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization. The result was a more efficient wholesale setup that automated tiered pricing, reduced the risk of pricing errors, and gave the client a scalable structure for managing wholesale sales more effectively.
