Über mich
I'm Marco, a full-stack engineer based in Italy. I help founders turn AI-generated prototypes into software that survives real users. Apps built with Lovable, Bolt, Replit or Cursor look finished and break on day one: no data isolation, exposed keys, no error handling, no safe deploy. I rebuild that foundation. I work daily with Next.js, React, Node, Django, PostgreSQL and Supabase, and run multi-tenant SaaS in production. Before software I spent 13 years in industrial automation, where a failing system costs real money. Send me your project link and I'll tell you straight what it needs.... Mehr lesen

Founder and Technical Lead

Jan 2026 - Present6 mos

Founder and technical lead of an Italian consultancy building web applications and SaaS products for small and medium businesses. I own the full cycle: architecture, backend, frontend, deployment and production maintenance. Recent work includes a multi-tenant check-in application used daily by a hospitality operator, a B2B lead generation SaaS, and multi-tenant platforms with tenant isolation, authentication, background job queues and automated document generation. I work directly with founders and owners who need one person accountable for the technical decisions, not a team of specialists to coordinate.

Industrial Automation and Plant Engineering

Aug 2011 - Mar 202513 yrs 7 mos

Thirteen years in industrial automation and plant engineering before moving to software. I worked on automated logistics systems and industrial electrical plants: commissioning, fault diagnosis under time pressure, root cause analysis, and leading maintenance and installation teams on sites that could not afford to stop. Every system I delivered had to be documented, pass inspection and keep running for years without me standing next to it. That is where I learned what production really means: systems don't fail in demos, they fail under real load at the worst possible moment, and reliability comes from monitoring, error handling and honest documentation, not from good intentions.
