Will you need access to my Instagram account?
Yes. Since followers must be removed from within the account, login access is required. You can use temporary credentials or a secure password-sharing service such as 1Password or LastPass if you prefer not to send your password directly.
Do I have to turn off Two-Factor Authentication?
No. You can keep 2FA enabled. Instagram may ask you to approve a login or provide a verification method when the account is accessed from a different device or location.
Is the follower cleanup automated?
No. The removal process is handled manually through Instagram’s built-in Remove follower feature. I do not rely on bots, automated removal software, or third-party follower cleanup applications.
What happens when you remove a follower?
The selected account will no longer follow your Instagram profile. This service does not delete anyone’s Instagram account, remove your content, change your profile settings, or automatically block users.
Will you also clean my Following list?
No. This gig focuses on removing selected accounts from your Followers list. Unfollowing people you currently follow or identifying non-followbacks is a different service and would need to be discussed separately.
Can I specify accounts that should not be removed?
Yes. Depending on the package, you can provide usernames or instructions for accounts you want to keep. These might include friends, customers, business contacts, partners, mutuals, or other important followers.
Could a genuine follower appear inactive?
Yes. Some genuine users rarely like, comment, or interact publicly, so an account that appears inactive is not necessarily fake or unwanted. Custom keep rules and whitelist instructions can help protect followers that are important to you.
Should I expect my follower count to decrease?
Yes. Reducing the follower count is a normal part of this service because selected unwanted followers are being removed from your audience.
Does follower cleanup guarantee better engagement?
No specific improvement can be guaranteed. The purpose is to create a cleaner and more relevant follower base. Reach and engagement can still be influenced by your content, audience, niche, account activity, and Instagram’s systems.
Can I change or stop the cleanup after it starts?
Yes. If you need to pause the work, change your removal preferences, or protect additional accounts, contact me as soon as possible. I will follow the updated instructions for the remaining cleanup wherever reasonably possible. Followers that have already been removed may need to follow your account
