Name of assignment or project: Consulting Services for Detail Design, Tender Assistance & Construction Supervision for Dhaka Mass Rapid Transit Development Project (Metro Rail-Line 5): Northern Route. Year: Mar 2021 to till date. Organization: SYSTRA SA, Bangladesh. Location: Bangladesh Client: Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (Metro Rail Authority of Bangladesh). Main project features: The objective of the consulting services is to achieve the efficient and proper preparation and implementation of the Project through the following works: • 1) Basic Design for whole Telecommunication sub-system. • 2) Detailed Design for Telecommunication sub-system. • 3) Design and implementation of Backbone transmission system for the whole Metro Rail system. • 4) Preparation of Pre-Qualification, Bid Documents, Technical Specification, Tender documents and BOQ. • 5) Facilitation of Implementation of Environmental Management Plan (EMP), Environmental Monitoring Plan (EMoP) and Resettlement Action Plan (RAP). • 6) Construction Supervision for Telecommunication sub-system, OCC (Operation Control Centre) and Telecommunication SCADA. • 7) Technology Transfer. • 8) Organization of Panel of Experts. • 9) Coordination with Stakeholders. • 10) Traffic Management. • 11) Institution Development Assistance. • 12) Non-Rail Business Strategy Plan, Design and Development, and Station Area Development. • 13) Security Assessment and Risk Mitigation. • 14) Utility Relocation Assistance. • 15) Public Relations Activities. • 16) Preparation of Detailed Land Acquisition Plan. Position held: Telecommunication Expert Activities performed: • Prepared Basic Telecommunication design as an integral part of Electrical & Mechanical (E&M) System of the Railway System. • Prepared Technical specifications of different types of components and other parts used in Telecommunication system for proper Railway Operation following international standards.
