It is a proposed Markdown-based file placed at `/llms.txt` that gives AI tools a concise, curated overview of a website and links to its most useful content.
What is llms-full.txt?
It is a consolidated, long-form Markdown file containing the cleaned content of selected pages. It is useful when a tool needs more context than the shorter index provides.
Is llms.txt the same as robots.txt?
No. `robots.txt` communicates crawl permissions to compliant crawlers. `llms.txt` is a content-orientation convention and should not be sold as an access-control or privacy mechanism.
Will this rank my website in ChatGPT or Google?
