Is your app built on .NET 6, 7, 8 or 9? Microsoft ends support for .NET 8 and 9 on November 10, 2026. After that, no more security updates. .NET 10 is supported until November 2028.
I will upgrade your app to .NET 10, fix the compatibility issues, and check the features your business relies on.

1. What happens if I do not upgrade before November 10, 2026?
Your app can continue running, but Microsoft ends security updates for .NET 8 and 9 on November 10, 2026. New vulnerabilities stay unfixed and audits may flag it. .NET 10 is supported until November 2028.
2. Which .NET versions can you upgrade?
My standard service covers .NET 6, 7, 8 and 9 applications moving to .NET 10. For older .NET Core or .NET Framework applications, I review the code and dependencies first, then confirm the migration approach, scope and price.
3. Can you migrate an ASP.NET Web Forms application?
Web Forms cannot run directly on .NET 10. The web interface needs to be rebuilt using a supported framework such as ASP.NET Core MVC or Razor Pages. Some business logic may be reusable. This requires a separate assessment and custom quote.
4. What do you need from me to start?
Your source code through Git or ZIP, current .NET version, build and run instructions, hosting details, and the main features you want tested. Please include sample data and details of any private or licensed dependencies.
5. How do you check that my app still works after the upgrade?
I work in a separate Git branch, run existing tests and check the agreed workflows. For 7 days after delivery, I fix reproducible bugs introduced by my upgrade within the agreed scope at no extra cost. New features and unrelated issues are quoted separately.
6. Will my source code remain confidential?
I use your code only for your project and do not share it without your permission. I am happy to sign an NDA before receiving access. Please remove live passwords and API keys from shared files and provide test credentials where needed.
