Led the end-to-end technical execution and architecture of beeswarmed.org for over two years, transforming a legacy no-code MVP into a high-performance, multi-channel global platform. Scaled system capability to support thousands of active users and hundreds of daily real-time swarm dispatches across North America, Europe, and Australia. • Legacy MVP & Scalability Assessment: Managed and optimized acomplex Bubble.io application, supporting core features such as swarm tracking, interactive heatmaps, and claim/unclaim state management. • Architecture Migration (Next.js & Supabase): Spearheaded the transition of the application from Bubble.io to a full-stack Next.js and Supabase architecture to solve performance bottlenecks and handle scaling demands. Interactive Geospatial Mapping & Heatmaps: Developed interactive mapping interfaces and dynamic activity heatmaps, enabling real-time swarm tracking, density analytics, geographic radius filtering, and live claim/unclaim state updates. • Subscription & Payment Processing: Configured Stripe billing from start to finish, implementing variable monthly and yearly subscription tiers using Stripe Webhooks for real-time status synchronization. • AI & Image Analysis Pipeline: Integrated Hugging Face image classification models via API to automatically identify honey bee presence in user-uploaded reports, filtering out wasp or hornet submissions. • Multi-Channel Notification Dispatcher: Engineered a setting-based notification system using Twilio (SMS/WhatsApp) and Brevo (transactional emails) to notify nearby registered beekeepers immediately when new swarms are reported or when the availability status of an existing swarm changes.
