Founder & Full-Stack Developer - Slip

Building Slip, an AI-powered receipt scanning and expense management platform that turns uploaded receipt images into structured, searchable and organised financial records. Designed the product from concept and developed it across web, backend and iOS. Core functionality includes receipt uploads, AI-powered OCR extraction, merchant and total detection, automatic categorisation, receipt review, duplicate prevention, cloud storage, searchable expense history, analytics, multi-currency support and subscription-based usage limits. Built the web application using React and TypeScript, the backend using Node.js and Express, and the iOS experience using SwiftUI. Implemented Supabase authentication, secure upload workflows, signed cloud-storage URLs, Stripe subscription handling and API-based communication between the clients and backend. Created both quick and detailed scanning workflows, including validation, error handling and confirmation screens before an expense is saved. Improved quick-scan processing from approximately 14 seconds to around 5–6 seconds through image compression, reduced image dimensions, workflow optimisation and more efficient API handling. Developed monthly scan limits, free and paid plans, duplicate receipt detection, currency conversion, analytics summaries and structured expense data. Also worked on caching, performance monitoring, production reliability and consistent behaviour between the web and iOS versions. Responsible for product strategy, UI/UX design, frontend and backend architecture, database structure, mobile development, testing, debugging, performance improvements, billing logic and deployment preparation.

Founder & Full-Stack Developer - Horizolve

Built and currently operate Horizolve, a multilingual Discord management platform used by more than 110 communities representing over 60,000 members. Designed and developed the complete product ecosystem, including the public website, React and TypeScript dashboard, Node.js REST API, Discord.js bot, MongoDB database architecture, authentication flows, premium subscription system and server-specific configuration. Created a modular plugin system supporting community automation, moderation, engagement and management tools. Features include welcome and goodbye messages, reaction roles, levels, giveaways, temporary voice channels, ModMail, reports, invite tracking, statistics channels, birthdays, achievements, rewards and other configurable systems. Implemented secure permission-aware access controls so users can only manage servers where they have the required Discord permissions and where the bot is installed. Built structured error handling for invalid access, missing bot permissions, premium restrictions, rate limits, unavailable resources and server failures. Integrated Stripe checkout, subscriptions, webhooks, billing status handling and premium feature enforcement across the frontend and backend. Added Redis-backed caching, request coalescing, request-level timing, monitoring and performance diagnostics to reduce unnecessary Discord API requests and identify production bottlenecks. Developed multilingual support, responsive dashboard interfaces, reusable UI components, per-server settings, analytics tracking and deployment workflows across the website, API and bot infrastructure.
