Contributed to a national-level wetland mapping and inventory development project conducted by International Water Management Institute using advanced remote sensing and geospatial techniques. Processed and analyzed multi temporal satellite imagery to identify and classify wetlands across Sri Lanka. Performed spatial analysis, spectral index extraction, machine learning classification and time series analysis to improve wetland detection accuracy. Integrated hydrological, bathymetric and geospatial datasets for accurate environmental modeling and validation. Also designed and developed an interactive web dashboard to support wetland visualization, monitoring and decision making for stakeholders and researchers.
