I'm a qualified proofreader and an award-winning fiction writer with over twenty years of experience in translating, editing and proofreading both fiction and non-fiction, providing top-quality English copy to strict deadlines. Do you work with UK or US English?
Both! I am a UK native speaker, but am comfortable working with the spelling, grammar and punctuation conventions of US English as well.
What document formats do you work with?
My preferred format is MS Word-compatible files (i.e. docx, doc or rtf). I have also trained in proofreading using Adobe's editing tools, so can use these if necessary for PDFs – however, please be aware that I will then mark changes using the editing tools. I cannot implement changes in PDF files.

Probably! I tend to create my own style sheets and checklists, but am usually happy to adhere to a specific style guide if you request this.
What genres do you work with?
Literary, SFF (and subgenres thereof), mystery and thriller, upmarket and others. I've recently fallen in love with the romantasy genre, and will always have time for a 1930s cosy crime novel or a WW2 mystery!
Do you proofread non-fiction?
Yes, I do! Previous non-fiction projects include a history of a major Scandinavian company, a recipe book, and various HR manuals and ebooks.
Do you have any references or reviews outside of Fiverr?
