Manage quality activities for BMW lighting programs across the project lifecycle, from APQP launch and prototype builds through pilot production and Start of Production (SOP), in accordance with customer-specific requirements, including BMW PSW and Qloop. • Coordinate end-to-end quality control for incoming components, in-process operations, and finished products; develop and maintain inspection standards, control plans, and work instructions. • Lead structured analysis of manufacturing and customer-reported quality issues using 8D, 5 Why, and fishbone analysis; coordinate corrective actions and verify their effectiveness to ensure issue closure. • Coordinate with BMW customer quality teams on PPAP submissions, engineering changes, and on-site audits to support customer approval and production release. • Participate in process capability studies (Cpk/Ppk), nonconforming-product control, and rework/repair planning to improve process stability and first-pass yield. • Collect and analyze routine quality data and prepare weekly reports, monthly reports, and quality improvement summaries to support management decisions and process optimization. • Work with R&D, production, process engineering, and purchasing teams on cost, quality, dimensional accuracy, assembly fit, and product reliability improvement initiatives.
