In this role, I led QuickBooks Online cleanup and catch up projects for businesses that were months or years behind. Each project started with rebuilding the chart of accounts and fixing the opening balances. I removed duplicate entries and reconciled every bank and credit card account to its statement. Before delivery, I reviewed the work of junior bookkeepers so clients and their CPAs received tax ready financial statements. After each cleanup, I set up a monthly bookkeeping routine that kept the books current.

As a Bookkeeping Associate, I managed QuickBooks Online bookkeeping for small business clients in the USA, Canada and the UK. My daily work was categorizing bank and credit card transactions for each client. Every month, I reconciled bank, credit card and PayPal accounts to their statements. I also recorded vendor bills and customer invoices, and cleared undeposited funds and duplicate entries. At month end, I prepared the profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow reports for the senior accountants to review.
