As the founder of RootedIn.Tech, I combine hands-on engineering with product leadership: defining priorities, translating business needs into developer-ready requirements, guiding delivery, and implementing improvements. Ways I help: • App reviews and completion plans: assess an existing or unfinished application, explain what needs attention, and prioritize practical next steps. • App improvement projects: build agreed features, repair problems, and connect business tools through APIs and automation. • MVP planning: turn ideas into a realistic first-release scope, user flows, product designs, and clear developer requirements. • Ongoing fractional CTO and product leadership: guide technical decisions, coordinate developers, and maintain a clear delivery plan on a part-time basis. Selected client work: • Improved a healthcare marketplace with location-based search, custom filters, better result relevance, duplicate handling, and Google Maps/Places integration. Provided implementation context and code to an incoming partner team. • Resolved conflicting requirements, defined the MVP, designed the product, and led 2 developers. • Assessed an existing platform through code review, historical data-structure analysis, and local testing; delivered a plain-English explanation of functional issues and recommendations for modernization. Tools include React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, APIs, and CMS integrations. Clients get clear communication, practical technical judgment, and hands-on ownership from planning through delivery.
