FAQ
What is Shopify Scripts to Shopify Functions migration?
Shopify Scripts migration involves replacing legacy Ruby-based Scripts with supported Shopify Functions to maintain or recreate custom discount, shipping, and checkout logic using Shopify's modern extensibility system.
What do you need from me to get started?
Please provide your existing Script code, a description of the expected functionality, relevant store requirements, and any error messages or examples of the current behavior. I will review the requirements before starting.
Can you migrate all types of Shopify Scripts?
I can help migrate supported Script functionality to the appropriate Shopify Function API. Some legacy features may not have a direct replacement, so I will assess compatibility and confirm what can be implemented before accepting the order.
Can you fix custom discounts and checkout logic?
Yes, depending on your requirements, I can help implement custom discount rules, tiered discounts, Buy X Get Y offers, and supported shipping or payment customizations. Please contact me to confirm feasibility and scope.
Will you test the migrated functionality before delivery?
Yes, testing is included according to your selected package. I will verify the agreed business rules using available test scenarios and provide setup guidance where applicable. Deployment and additional testing can be discussed before ordering. Copy answer
