Conducted vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, identifying and mitigating security weaknesses in web applications and network infrastructure of State government.  Utilized security tools like Kali, Nmap, Burp Suite, Nessus, and Wireshark to perform in- depth security testing and eliminate false positives results generated by tools.  Developed detailed website audit reports, with detailed POC’s and providing actionable recommendations and ensuring accurate remediation of vulnerabilities.  Performed malware analysis and reverse engineering to understand malicious code and improve defense strategies.  Investigate root cause analysis of different type of cyber-attacks and conduct awareness trainings.  Conduct log analysis using SIEM and threat hunting.  Design and documentation of RFP requirements for a State Security Operations Center (SOC)
