During my one-year contract with IKEA, I worked as a design consultant under the direction of Lars Engman. My primary focus was on creating sketches for new collections, developing innovative and functional design solutions that aligned with IKEA's aesthetics and customer needs. Page 6 of 7 Working closely with Engman and the rest of the design team, I gained valuable insights into the design process at one of the world's leading furniture producers. My time at IKEA deepened my understanding of market trends and customer preferences, and gave me experience in balancing creativity with commercial requirements. This period also enhanced my skills in CAD software and 3D modeling, enabling me to contribute detailed and wellthought-out design proposals. The experience at IKEA has been invaluable for my ongoing career as a product designer, equipping me with the skills and insights necessary to successfully develop and implement design projects from concept to finished product.
