• Responsible for providing leadership and coordination efforts to improve integrity and flow of data, enhance patient care and operations, and generate insights on the patients' physical and mental health through health informatics-based solutions • Report to the Deputy Director and work closely with managers to identify, define, and prioritize informatics projects aimed at improving efficiency and meeting auditing and reporting mandates • Oversee the informatics team and projects. Plan, develop, and implement informatics projects: assess team resources, assign projects, and monitor projects through all phases. Direct informatics staff through the project life cycle including initial assignment, early development, testing, and continuous quality improvement • Oversee the administrative medical support staff to improve their data QC processes, scanning, medical records management, and certification processing. Supervise the Administrative Supervisor to enhance data collection to support Program goals, develop and refine clerical areas (medical record management, data entry, and data quality control, patient portal communications, etc). • Meet regularly with managers to ensure informatics solutions meet operational needs • Develop data systems integrating all data from a variety of internal and external sources. Organize data in dashboards and reports for the Directors. Align databases to meet Program needs for quality assurance, productivity, efficiency, risk management, and cost containment. Perform statistical analyses and write a summary of findings • Analyze workflows to identify problems and inefficiencies and provide expertise to the administrative team to aid in the development of informatics-based solutions. Ensure that SOPs have corresponding workflows • Assess optimization and improvement needs for EMR and its interface with the database systems, with the goal to improve clinical workflow and communication with the patient population
