Automated Billing & Customer Lifecycle Email System

Built a two-part automation system for a payments business to handle real-time billing events and ongoing customer email communication without manual intervention. The first part listens for billing events as they happen, in real time, routes each one based on payment status and customer type, syncs the contact to the CRM, and sends an immediate relevant email. Every event is also logged into a queue tagged by customer segment. The second part runs on a schedule, working through that queue to send the correct follow-up email sequence to each customer based on their segment, then updating the CRM and clearing them from the queue once handled.
