Hi, I’m Jessie, a professional book editor and Amazon KDP formatter with hands-on experience helping authors refine, strengthen, and prepare their manuscripts for publishing. Before freelancing, I worked closely with independent authors and small publishing projects, assisting with manuscript development, editing, proofreading, and publication-ready formatting. Over time, I’ve worked on a wide range of nonfiction books, memoirs, self-help titles, Christian books, and story-driven fiction, helping writers improve clarity, structure, readability, pacing, and overall flow while preserving their unique voice. My editing approach goes beyond correcting grammar. I carefully review each manuscript to identify weak areas, improve sentence flow, strengthen organization, and ensure the book delivers a smoother and more engaging reading experience. I understand how much time, effort, and personal investment goes into writing a book, which is why I approach every project with professionalism, honesty, patience, and attention to detail. In addition to editing, I provide clean and professional Amazon KDP formatting for both eBooks and paperbacks, including proper chapter styling, margins, spacing, clickable table of contents, and upload-ready files designed to meet publishing standards. I’ve had the opportunity to work with first-time authors, entrepreneurs, coaches, pastors, and experienced writers, many of whom returned for additional projects because they valued clear communication, thoughtful feedback, and reliable support throughout the editing process. Whether you need developmental editing, line editing, copy editing, proofreading, or formatting, my goal is to help you turn your manuscript into a polished, professional book you can confidently publish. Feel free to message me with your manuscript details, word count, and goals. I’d be happy to discuss the best editing or formatting approach for your project.
