Über mich
Hi, I'm Jahia (Yahya), an audiovisual translation specialist certified by MSA University in Egypt and the University of Bedfordshire in the UK.
Personally, I think of audiovisual translation as a bridge connecting two sides of a deep river, where neither side can swim. As the builder, my responsibility is to ensure ideas, emotions, and meaning cross accurately from one side to the other.
And I'll leave you with this: if you print your subtitles, read them, and still can't fully grasp the meaning of each line or feel the weight of a dialogue, then the translator's job isn't done yet.
