Hello! Call me IVA.
Give me your short story and I'll make them into a manga! I love making comics and I've had over 6 years of experience creating them. This service is specified for Manga only (monochrome or black & white comics). My art style is basically shoujo, josei, seinen, cartoony, whimsy, mostly anthropomorphic; don't expect "Golden Age superhero style".
Necessary technicalities (applied to all packs):
- image size will depend on usage
- default 5 figures/major characters (read FAQs)
- screentones/greyscale shading/hatching/combo
- (negotiable) maximum of 6-9 panels per page
- Deliverables: PDF and JPG/PNG/TIFF (depends on usage)
- themes that I won't draw (see FAQs)
- default Personal Use only (for commercial see extra)
- (extra) Source File is charged per page

FAQ
What kind of manga/comic genre or style do you draw?
My art style veers clost to shoujo and more into Josei manga genre, but more freestyle than those combined. Popular examples are Honey and Clover (Chica Umino) and Sakamichi No Apollon/Kids on the Slope (Yuki Kodama). My art style is a hybrid of anime, manga, manhwa, and western webcomics.
Besides the PDF, what other formats can you deliver?
Besides the PDF, the image files can either be PNG, JPEG/JPG, or TIFF. Please message me what format you'd like to accompany the PDF. Source file (PSD or CLIP) is available as an Extra.
Can you do a comic in the style of Marvel and DC? Like old-school vintage superhero comics?
No, I do not draw in that style or anything closely similar.
What size do you suggest for the manga?
If it's for personal use, then it's a default 900px by 1264px or lower; adequate for web viewing. If it's for commercial use, then it depends on what you need. Message me if you have something else in mind.
What do you mean using "screen tones, greyscale shading, hatching, or combo"?
Usually traditional manga uses screen tones & hatching to give the drawings depth and texture. I can accommodate grey shading OR a combo of hatching & screen tones, but never the same three (for aesthetic purposes). You can message me about this if you're unsure.
What if I want more than 9 panels in one page?
Having more than 9 panels WITH speech bubbles will make the page crammed & unreadable. But that'll depend IF most of the panels will have writing/speech bubbles. If no writing, then that can be an exception. This will also depend if you have a comic script.
What themes do you NOT draw?
I will not draw anything under the themes of excessive violence on humans and/or animals, and explicit sexual imagery depicting full nudity and/or people's private parts. For consideration are sensual images and some scenes of violence that aligns with the story. Message me if you're unsure.
What if I want more characters? (more than indicated in the pack)
Major characters are the one's counted here. Additional MAJOR characters can be ordered as an extra. (in extra +1 figure = +1 added character). Background characters with less than 5 lines of script are an exclusion. Which means they will still be drawn free of charge. PM me if it's still unclear.
How much for the Source File? And what's in them?
The source file, which is either in PSD or CLIP format, is $30 PER PAGE. Do browse the extras on checkout since the rate might go lower or higher (depending on demand). Basic layers include: Draft, Screen tones, Lineart, Frames, Balloon, Text, and an occasional Overlay Effect. PM to negotiate.
