Designed a 3000W TRIAC-based AC power controller to divert excess PV energy to thermal loads. Programmed interrupt-driven Modbus RTU telemetry over RS-232/RS-485 to query inverter parameters. Developed C firmware for AVR ATmega8A featuring zero-cross phase-angle firing control, fail-safe logic, and thermal management.
