When you use Ghost on your own DigitalOcean server there is no limitations and monthly hosting is much more affordable ($6 USD per month) The following limitations removed: -pageview limitation -member limitation -Custom themes -Custom integrations -Staff User restriction -Full server control
Does it cost more for an SSL certificate?
No. This is covered by the gig cost. The certificate will be provided by Let's Encrypt, a nonprofit Certificate Authority, and will be renewed automatically.
Can you install Ghost on my shared hosting?
No. Ghost can't be installed on shared hosting, but can be installed on a separate DigitalOcean droplet.
Are you a ghost developer?
No, I do not develop Ghost. However, I am a university qualified ICT professional with 20 years experience. I am also a daily Ghost/DigitalOcean user myself.
Do you provide Domain and Server?
I can purchase a domain name for you for a small extra fee. The server is provided under your DigitalOcean account which you will register with your payment method. This will cost you (at the time of writing) $6USD per month
