As an Embedded Systems & Firmware Engineer, I contributed to the design, development, testing, and optimization of embedded hardware and firmware solutions for consumer electronic products. My responsibilities included developing production-ready firmware in Embedded C/C++ for ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers, implementing real-time applications using FreeRTOS and Zephyr RTOS, and integrating peripherals such as UART, SPI, I²C, CAN, USB, BLE, and Wi-Fi. I collaborated with cross-functional hardware and software teams to bring embedded products from concept through validation and production. My work involved debugging complex firmware issues, optimizing system performance and power consumption, developing reusable device drivers, and ensuring reliable communication between hardware components. I participated in PCB review and hardware bring-up activities, validating schematics, debugging prototypes, and supporting the development of custom embedded boards and carrier boards. I also worked closely with hardware engineers during board verification, peripheral integration, and manufacturing testing. My responsibilities included implementing IoT communication protocols such as MQTT, developing secure firmware update mechanisms, integrating sensors and wireless modules, and improving system stability through extensive testing and code reviews. I maintained high coding standards, produced technical documentation, and followed best practices for embedded software architecture and version control. Throughout my role, I focused on delivering scalable, maintainable, and high-quality embedded solutions while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams to meet product requirements and project deadlines.
