I will upgrade your laravel application

Newer versions offer better security and make future development easier. It will also allow your app to support newer features, which you can take advantage of to improve performance and security, include the latest technologies, and more.

Not all applications are compatible with the latest version due to the installed packages. To find out if your application is compatible with the newest version, I'll need to look at the installed packages and verify.

If you still want to upgrade your application in such cases, those packages will need a suitable replacement. I don't replace those packages in this Gig, but I can do it separately.

I'll have to look at the composer.json file to check if all installed packages are compatible with the latest version of Laravel. Also, I'll have to take a quick look at the app itself.

There are several ways to upgrade your app: 1) You share the source code (or GitHub repository), and I'll upgrade it locally, then I return the upgraded version (recommended). 2) You share your hosting credentials, and I upgrade your test server's application (it takes more time).

If your version is too old, say 4.2, I'll need to create a new Laravel app and move your code there. This will require several days of testing and troubleshooting during the process.
