I build web scrapers and video download APIs that keep running after delivery day. I built and ran a video download service on Node.js and yt-dlp, so I know what breaks in production: markup changes, rate limits, timeouts, hanging requests. My open-source safe-ytdlp is a hardened yt-dlp wrapper with an SSRF allowlist and injection protection, CI on Node 18, 20 and 22. github.com/nhathao428/safe-ytdlp I also publish an Apify Actor for trade fair exhibitor data. Open-source and published tooling for web scraping and automation. Two projects clients can inspect before hiring me: safe-ytdlp - a hardened yt-dlp wrapper for Node.js: SSRF host allowlist, command and argument injection protection, timeouts and concurrency limits. Zero dependencies, CI on Node 18, 20 and 22. Trade Fair Exhibitor Extractor - a published Apify Actor that pulls exhibitor contact details from trade fair directories. It decodes base64-obfuscated addresses, refuses the fair organiser's address, and reports every row it could not fill with a reason instead of dropping it. 41 unit tests built from real captured pages.
