Do I need a paid Airtable plan?
Airtable free caps you at 1,000 records per base and 100 automation runs a month. Tell me your volume before you order and I'll tell you which plan you actually need.
Why is my base already near its limit?
Records count per base, not per table. Ten tables at 5,000 records each is 50,000 records in one base. Duplicates eat that ceiling fastest, which is why I build matching in from the start.
Can my clients see their data without me paying for more seats?
Yes. Airtable bills per editor; read only viewers are free. A Softr portal lets clients and stakeholders log in and submit data without occupying a paid editor seat.
What happens when an automation breaks?
You get told. Every route has a failure alert. Most bases just stop and nobody notices for weeks.
Can you fix an existing base instead of rebuilding?
Yes, that's the Basic package. Audit first, then decide.
Airtable Interface or Softr?
Interfaces are for your team, inside Airtable. Softr is for people outside it. If your clients need a login, it's Softr.
Will I be able to maintain it?
Yes. You get the schema diagram and written documentation, and it's built in your account.
Can you migrate my messy spreadsheet?
Yes, including de-duplication before import so you don't carry the mess across.
