Gage is a New York–born, LA-based bassist, artist, and composer. After studying at both the University of North Texas and Belmont University in Nashville, Gage went on to work in LA as a full-time performing and studio musician. Specializing in both upright bass as well as 4, 5, and 6 string electric bass, Gage uses his background in jazz, classical, funk, rock, R&B, and soul to add professional-level bass to your project. Gage’s playing draws inspiration from legendary musicians including Chuck Rainey, Pino Palladino, Rocco Palladino, and Anthony Jackson, Oscar Peterson and Quincy Jones.
