Danfoss

Customer Care LATAM at Danfoss Power Solutions

Danfoss • Teilzeit

Jan 2026 - Apr 20263 mos

During my internship as a Customer Care Intern for LATAM at Danfoss Power Solutions – Hydraulics Division, I supported the regional Customer Care team in improving operational efficiency and customer service processes across Latin America. My role combined customer support with data analysis and process improvement, allowing me to contribute to both day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives. I worked extensively with Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and automate reports, helping the team monitor key performance indicators, order status, and service metrics. I also developed Power BI dashboards to transform operational data into interactive visualizations, enabling faster decision-making and improved visibility into customer service performance. Additionally, I used Python to automate repetitive tasks, process large datasets, and improve reporting workflows, reducing manual effort and increasing accuracy. I frequently worked with SAP to retrieve and manage customer orders, monitor deliveries, verify product information, and support the order fulfillment process. This experience strengthened my analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills while exposing me to an international business environment. Working with cross-functional teams across Latin America enhanced my ability to collaborate with colleagues from different countries and adapt to diverse business needs. It also reinforced my interest in using technology and data-driven solutions to optimize business processes and improve customer experience.

Process and Product Engineering at Gerdau

Steel Division 2 • Teilzeit

Feb 2025 - Feb 20250 mos

During my internship in the Process and Product Engineering department at Gerdau, I worked on a project focused on designing a processing route for a high-machinability steel grade. My responsibilities included studying the relationship between chemical composition, thermomechanical processing, and final mechanical properties to develop a manufacturing route that met both performance and production requirements. I collaborated with engineers to analyze production parameters, evaluate metallurgical data, and understand the effects of different processing stages, including steelmaking, casting, hot rolling, and heat treatment. The project required applying materials science and metallurgical engineering principles to optimize the balance between machinability, mechanical properties, and manufacturing efficiency. Throughout the internship, I analyzed technical documentation, interpreted production and quality data, and contributed to engineering discussions aimed at improving process consistency and product performance. This experience strengthened my understanding of industrial steel production, process optimization, and product development while enhancing my analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. It also provided valuable exposure to one of the world's leading steel manufacturers and reinforced my interest in process engineering, metallurgy, and continuous improvement.
