Native Quebec French, based in Montreal. I build subtitle and caption files that hold up on screen: FR-CA translation adapted inside your timecodes, SDH for accessibility, and broadcast CEA-608/708 authored to spec as .scc.
Quebec French is not France French. The vocabulary and the forms of address are different, and a Quebec audience hears it in the first ten seconds.
