Najma is the eponymous project of Najma Santopadre, a Sardinian singer-songwriter who blends electropop, ambient, and tech-house, drawing influence from the UK scene while maintaining deep roots in a more ancestral sonic imagery. Her music stems from an intimate need for exploration and listening — an attempt to give shape to the invisible, moving between personal research, club-driven sounds, and introspection. Since October 2022, I have been collaborating with her as part of a team, working as a project manager. I have fostered interdisciplinary collaborations and implemented effective communication strategies. I secured a distribution deal, wrote press releases and a tailored communication plan, and contributed to the development of the project’s artistic direction. Starting in September 2024, following an evolution in both lyrics and production, her music has been featured in Spotify’s editorial playlists such as Italia Equal, Anima R&B, Fresh Finds Italia, and others. The documentary Home as a Feeling: Lives in Svenljunga follows the journeys of Yuliia, Erhan, and Zeinab: three people who have made Svenljunga their home after fleeing from their countries due to circumstances beyond their control. Through their stories, the film explores the emotional meaning of belonging, from past struggles to hopes for the future. Featuring four languages—Swedish, English, Arabic, and Turkish—with Swedish subtitles, the project was created as a part of my experience as an ESC Volunteer with the support of Svenljunga Municipality, BUS, and Kultur Ungdom.

Wide Studio is a dynamic ecosystem of young professionals (including photographers, managers, and filmmakers) who focus on collaborating with emerging music artists. As part of the team, I contributed to organising an event for Milan Music Week (November 2022) and worked closely with rising talents. I primarily focused on artist promotion and press releases, as well as managing external relations. The team consists of founding members Riccardo Demurtas, Luca Petretto, and Andrea Tomasi, with me joining in May 2022. Currently, the project is on pause.
