I'm a book cover designer working mostly with indie authors and small presses. My background is in [design/illustration/typography], and I've spent the last 3 years focused specifically on covers — which is a narrower craft than general graphic design, and I like it that way.
I work best with authors who can tell me what their book feels like. From there I handle the rest: concept, typography, print setup, the parts that usually cause headaches.
