Most Experience Cloud portals launch looking like a template and get abandoned within a quarter. The reason is that nobody decided what the portal was actually for before the build started.
I start with the outcome. 7 years in the Salesforce ecosystem. Background in Mechatronics.
What I build:
- Customer portals for self-service case management and knowledge access
- Partner portals for deal registration, lead sharing, and co-selling
- Employee portals for internal knowledge, HR workflows, and onboarding
- Branded sites with custom CSS, navigation, and authentication flows
- Guest-user configuration for public-facing content without login friction
What I will not build:
- Portals without a defined audience or use case
- E-commerce functionality that belongs on Salesforce Commerce Cloud
- Work on an org where the decision-maker is not in the conversation

What is the difference between Experience Cloud, Community Cloud, and Digital Experience?
They are the same product under different names across Salesforce's rebranding history. Community Cloud became Experience Cloud in 2020, and Digital Experience is the umbrella category. If your contract or admin console still uses the older terminology, the functionality is identical to what I build
Can you match our company branding exactly?
es, within the boundaries of the Lightning Design System. I apply your colors, typography, and logo through Experience Builder's theme system and custom CSS. For pixel-perfect custom designs that deviate significantly from LDS patterns, message me first so I can scope the additional component work.
Do your portals work on mobile?
Every portal I build is tested on mobile and tablet breakpoints before delivery. Experience Cloud is responsive by default, and the themes I apply maintain that responsiveness rather than breaking it. If your audience is primarily mobile, I prioritize the mobile experience during the build.
Can external users access data from my Salesforce org through the portal?
es, through Experience Cloud's sharing model. I configure the sharing sets, guest-user profiles, and object permissions so external users see only the data they should. This is one of the most security-sensitive parts of the build, and I document every access decision for your records.
My portal needs custom components beyond what Experience Builder offers. Can you handle that?
Yes, and the Premium tier includes one LWC component integration. For portals that require multiple custom components or complex component interactions, message me before ordering so we can scope the LWC work as part of a cross-gig engagement with my LWC gig.
