Hi! I’m Emily, an enthusiastic, patient, and approachable tutor offering English (ESL) and German lessons. Having lived in Germany, England, the Netherlands, and Australia, I bring an international perspective to my teaching. I enjoy helping people learn new languages, build confidence, and communicate more comfortably in everyday life. My approach is informed by my background in Psychology and my Master’s degree in Positive Psychology and Well-being, focusing on creating a supportive, encouraging, and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace.

Worked as a School Support Officer (SSO) at Adelaide International School in Australia, providing individual and small-group support to students who needed additional help with their learning. Intern as Positive Psychologist

Completed a Positive Psychology internship project at Adelaide International School, designing and delivering a strengths-based intervention aimed at improving students’ self-esteem, well-being, and self-confidence. Developed and adapted activities around character strengths, self-reflection, positive affirmations, and goal-setting for international secondary school students, taking into account language barriers and cultural differences. Evaluated the intervention using pre- and post-intervention questionnaires and explored ways to integrate Positive Psychology into the school environment to support students’ well-being.
