This project is a compact industrial IoT monitoring device built around the ESP32-WROOM-32. It is designed to monitor machine health and environmental conditions in workshops or small production facilities, helping reduce downtime through real-time data tracking and alerts. What the Device Does The system monitors: Temperature and humidity ambient conditions Machine vibration predictive maintenance AC current consumption load monitoring The ESP32 processes the data locally and transmits it securely over WiFi to a cloud dashboard using MQTT. If abnormal values are detected (overheating, excessive vibration, overload), the system sends instant alerts. Main Components ESP32-WROOM-32 WiFi + BLE, dual-core MCU DHT22 temperature & humidity sensor ADXL345 accelerometer (I2C vibration monitoring) ACS712 current sensor LM2596 buck converter (24V to 5V) 3.3V LDO regulator for ESP32 TVS diode and reverse polarity protection Technical Details 4-layer PCB with solid ground plane Separate analog and digital routing for noise reduction ESD protection on external inputs MQTT over TLS for secure communication FreeRTOS-based firmware with watchdog protection OTA Over-the-Air firmware updates Result: A reliable, industrial-grade IoT device capable of continuous monitoring, remote diagnostics, and early fault detection fully designed from schematic to PCB layout and embedded firmware.
