I will clean, merge and deduplicate your excel or csv data

Exported data from an old system and got a mess? Broken characters, duplicate
customers, phone numbers in six formats, headers in the middle of the file - I
fix it properly, with a script rather than manual editing.
WHAT I FIX
- Broken encodings and unreadable characters, detected not guessed
- Duplicate records, including fuzzy ones like "J. Smith" vs "John Smith"
- Inconsistent phone, date, currency and address formats
- Junk rows, merged cells, headers in the wrong place, empty columns
- Several files with different column names merged into one clean dataset
WHAT YOU GET
- A clean, ready-to-import Excel or CSV file
- A short report: how many rows were cleaned, merged or flagged
- Anything ambiguous flagged for you, not silently changed
- The Python script in Standard and Premium, so next month's export is one click
I built a client import system with automatic encoding detection and
deduplication for a production booking platform, migrating real customer
databases from other systems. I know exactly where these files break.
Send me a sample file before ordering and I'll tell you what can be recovered.

FAQ
Will you delete any of my data?
No. Nothing is removed without telling you. Duplicates are merged by the rule you set, and anything ambiguous is flagged in a separate column for you to decide, not silently changed. You also get the original file back untouched.
My file is a complete disaster. Is it too far gone?
Probably not - that's the normal case here. Send me a sample before ordering and I'll tell you honestly what can be recovered and what genuinely cannot. Free, and it takes me a few minutes.
What file formats do you accept?
Excel (.xlsx, .xls), CSV, TSV and Google Sheets. If your data sits in a database export or an odd format, message me first and I'll confirm.
Can you find duplicates that aren't written identically?
Yes, in Standard and Premium. Fuzzy matching catches "J. Smith" and "John Smith", or the same company written three ways. You set how strict it should be, and I show you the matches before merging.
Is my data kept confidential?
Yes. Your files are used only for this order, never shared or reused, and deleted from my machine after delivery. If the data is sensitive, send a sample with names replaced - the cleaning rules work the same.
