My story- Started editing in mobile phone 6 years ago (2020) for my gaming channel, had multiple failed projects around that time (2021-22). Didn't edit for 3 years (2022-25). Started taking small projects in low end Laptop for 6 months, sold the laptop and bought a powerful desktop. Now i edit videos for living. I edit videos in After Effects and Premier Pro.
