During my professional experience at DENSO, I worked as a Mechanical Designer, participating in the development of air-conditioning duct systems for the automotive industry. My main responsibilities included designing and creating 3D models of ducts to ensure efficient airflow distribution throughout the vehicle cabin. This required considering the available space, component geometry, mounting points, manufacturing requirements, and integration with other vehicle systems. I also made design modifications and technical adjustments based on project requirements and validation results. One of the most significant projects I participated in was the development of prototypes for the Toyota GR Yaris. My role involved supporting the design, adjustment, and evaluation of components related to the vehicle’s HVAC duct system. This experience allowed me to contribute to a high-level automotive project in which precision, compliance with technical specifications, and collaboration between different departments were essential. My experience at DENSO strengthened my skills in mechanical design, technical requirement interpretation, 3D modeling, problem-solving, and prototype development. It also gave me a deeper understanding of the complete automotive product-development process, from the initial design stage to validation and final vehicle integration. This experience reinforced my interest in mechanical design and automotive product development. It also taught me the importance of creating solutions that are functional, manufacturable, reliable, and compliant with the automotive industry’s demanding quality standards.
