Davis Albert Valle is an animator, visual artist, and videomaker whose research spans animation, painting, illustration, and musical language. Alongside collaborations with musicians and artists from the independent scene, he has developed personal projects such as Monday’s Funny Words, a twenty-episode series built around a fascination with Italian words and their ability to sound amusing when pronounced in a particular way by specially created fictional characters. Among the words featured in the series are everyday terms such as lenticchia (“lentil”) and brugola (“Allen key”), transformed into starting points for a creative exercise defined by playfulness and experimentation. Among his most representative works are the music video for El Verano Eterno (Charon) by Sebastiano Lillo and the visual for I Got You by Yuts and Culture, for which he conceived and created paintings inspired by cave art, animated in 2D frame by frame so that the brushstrokes and figures appear to move in sync with the percussion. His animation career also includes his involvement in Sheol’s Revenge, a sci-fi production for which Davis Albert Valle is credited on IMDb in the Animation Department. The international film database features a personal page dedicated to him, listing Sheol’s Revenge among the works he is known for. His artistic research has also expanded into the broader field of animated art: in 2025, he was one of eight artists selected for KineticLAD, an exhibition organized as part of the Lugano Animation Days and dedicated to original animated works created specifically for the event.
